Contemporary Dance

Service Description

The class begins with a heat-building warm up based on functional movement, skeletal alignment, and modern/ballet/yoga technique.  Then, dancers learn and work together through a unique contemporary dance phrase or sequence. The choreography portion of class offers an opportunity to explore one’s expression through contrasting movement quality, playing with weight shifting, musicality and nuance.
